Jagdeo encouraged after GECOM meeting

Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo said that a March elections date was totally out of the question, while another member of his delegation has claimed that GECOM Chair Justice (ret’d) Claudette Singh has committed to “working towards a timeline of having elections long before the end of the year.”

President David Granger, yesterday attended Heritage Day celebrations at Riversview Village, Upper Demerara-Berbice, Region Ten where he declared that education was not a sideshow and is central to the development of the entire Indigenous Community and the entire country.

Skerritt affirms Pollard as `the right man’
