US donates to police, judiciary

The U.S. Embassy and the U.S State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics & Law Enforcement, through the Justice Education Society (JES), has donated a number of items valued at GY$798,000 to the Guyana Police Force and the Judiciary.

Guyana to expand diplomatic presence into Middle East

A portion of this year’s budgetary allocation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will see the expansion of Guyana’s diplomatic presence in Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and possibly in Ghana, West Africa, subject Minister Hugh Todd yesterday said.
