AAG lauds sprinters Abrams, Archibald for Pan Am Games performances

Sprinters, Emanuel Archibald and Jasmine Abrams came in for high praise for their 100m performances at the on-going Pan Am Games from acting President of Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG), Amanda Hermonstine Abrams stormed to a silver medal in the women’s final, while Archibald earned bronze in the men’s equivalent on Tuesday evening in Santiago, Chile.

MACORP golf tournament launched

PM addresses OAS on Venezuela threat

Yesterday,  Prime Minister Mark Phillips addressed the Organization of American States (OAS), during an Extraordinary Special Session of the Permanent Council in Washington, which was convened at the request of the Government of Guyana to provide an update on the border controversy with Venezuela.
