Amy’s Pomeroon Foods Inc gets ‘Made in Guyana’ approval for coffee

Amy’s Pomeroon Foods Inc. (APFI) on Tuesday received certification from the Guyana National Bureau of Standards (GNBS) to use the “made in Guyana” mark on its Regular and Mocha flavoured ground coffee as well as its roasted and green coffee beans which can increase tits potential to access external markets.

Impact study not needed for new Demerara River bridge

The Environmental Assessment Board (EAB) on Tuesday upheld a decision of the EPA not to require an impact study for the construction of a new bridge over the Demerara River, relying in the main on a 2017 study which had concluded that the impacts of the project were “medium and manageable”.
