Dear Editor, As we are all aware West Indies cricket has been in the doldrums for the longest while now, where we are either number eight or nine in the rankings in all three formats of the game and I want to submit that one of the main reasons is because we have never selected the best team to represent us over the years and that includes under the chairmanship of Clyde Butts, Clive Lloyd and Courtney Brown.

Dear Editor, I hereby address the Citizens of Georgetown which stretches from the Eccles/Agricola Dam to the Industry Crown Dam.

Dear Editor, Cynical and perverse as it may seem, the coalition’s attempts at election rigging and the social, economic and financial impact of COVID-19 combined, spell the death knell for the Granger administration.

Dear Editor, The global COVID-19 pandemic is the moral, social, cultural, religious, economic, health, political and financial crisis of our times and will be with us for quite a while.

Dear Editor, Whilst he might seem God-like to most of his failing counterparts around the world,  Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore, is just resolute in his mission for the island nation. 

Dear Editor, I applaud US Ambassador to Guyana, Sarah-Ann Lynch, for her statement of April 2, 2020 defending her own and the US government officials’ position on the need for a fair result from the March 2nd general elections in Guyana.

Dear Editor, The conduct of the March 2 elections across the country was universally considered efficient, free and fair.

Dear Editor, Thanks for publishing my letter on the US Ambassador’s statement on Guyana’s elections (SN: 04/04/20).

Dear Editor,  There does not seem to be enough information being shared internationally by countries about the coronavirus.

Dear Editor, Now that David Hinds, a senior member for the APNU+AFC coalition has made an open call for the destruction of the ballot boxes, “I repeat my proposal here.

Dear Editor, Guyana is in crisis – the 2020 Elections stalemate compounded by the Corona Virus pandemic. 

Dear Editor, In the turbulence of argumentation about the schisms within the society – ethnic, racial, social, economic, religious, single, dual and multiple citizenships, riggers, infrastructuralists, protestors, and counter protestors, leaders and pretenders – there remains a few who are bemused about their true identity.

Dear Editor, The AFC has lost all the bargaining power they had, to call for a national unity government.

Dear Editor, The sweeping powers has swept the caretaker president’s order of closing restaurants, clubs  and bars and other public places  at 23 59 H on Friday, April 3 2020 to implementation of 18 00 H to 06 00 H (6 00 pm to 6 00 am) curfew with immediate effect until May 3 2020.

Dear Editor, Elections were held over a month ago. To date GECOM has not lived up to its mandate to provide a fair and transparent declaration of the results.

Dear Editor, I have just completed an assessment of the “preliminary” Region Four results, as declared on two separate occasions by the Returning Officer for Region Four, and the PPP/C’s published Statements of Polls.
