‘Missing’ absconder in army custody

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) said it has detained AWOL soldier Desmond Semple Jnr, who was reported missing after he was picked up on Friday by men in civilian clothing, in keeping with force regulations governing soldiers who are deserters.
