Plaisance man shot dead by cop during confrontation- police

The Police say they are investigating a fatal shooting which resulted in the death of Sherwin Filley C/D Red Ants, age 22 years, unemployed of Plaisance, ECD and which occurred today at about 01:50hrs at Ogle Seawall, ECD The police said that Filley was wanted for Robbery, Robbery with Violence  and three counts of wounding  committed on a 50-year- old resident of Vryheids Lust ECD.
