The January Trophy Stall tournament has created an opening for the Guyana Chess Federation to placidly observe for the remainder of the year. The tournament has generated the kind of activity that is required for chess, in that it has brought out the seasoned players and some young, bright faces. It means therefore, the young and the chess-matured still have an interest in playing the tantalizing brain game. The fervour has not waned. The photo shows another section of the participants doing battle at the Trophy Stall tournament.

Hi Everyone, There is something indescribable about the combination of freshly grated coconuts, flour, sugar, a little butter, ground cinnamon, grated nutmeg and a few drops of essence, all brought together by milk or water.
