Aunty Olga in hospital with broken hip

(Barbados Nation) Dame Olga Lopes-Seale, also popularly known as “Aunty Olga” has been hospitalised in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) after falling at her Stanmore Crescent, Black Rock, St Michael home and breaking a hip on Thursday evening.

Hogtied teen in custody over theft

The teenager who was severely beaten and hogtied after he was among a group allegedly caught stealing vehicle parts is in custody at the La Grange Police Station but members of his family yesterday said they have been denied access to him.

Cellink Berbice concluded another year as the number one County in Guyana when they comfortably retained their Pepsi/Carib T20 title against the Rest Team by nine wickets at the Guyana National Stadium last night.
