Police traffic advisory for funeral of Henry cousins

In consideration of the overwhelming support expected for the deceased, Joel Henry and Isaiah Henry, the Guyana Police Force wishes to advise commuters that they may experience mild to severe congestion along the West Coast  Berbice corridor while the procession is enroute and during the burial proceedings which are expected from 12:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs today Sunday 13th September, 2020.

Bath businessman succumbs after home invasion

Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice, business-man Mohamed Haniff, who returned to Guyana seven days ago, yesterday succumbed to the injuries he sustained during a home invasion on Friday night and his wife has since been held by the police for ques-tioning about the attack.
