Land repossessed by gov’t at Peters Hall resold at market prices – AG

Two years after PNCR member and attorney-at-law, James Bond, and former acting Chief Executive Officer of National Industrial & Commercial Investments Limited (NICIL), Colvin Heath-London, were taken to court over the sale of state lands at Peters Hall, East Bank Demerara (EBD), the government says that it has recovered all of the parcels and has resold some at market value back to the buyers.

Man gets 54 months for ganja on Hunter St

Anthony Wilson appeared at the Georgetown Magis-trate’s Court on Friday charged with the possession of 18 lbs (8.2 kgs) of cannabis for trafficking, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment with a fine of approximately $7.3m, a CANU release stated.

I will sort out and clear up and put in immaculate order my disgracefully disordered study/storeroom downstairs where there are dusty stacks and boxes of files, papers, diaries, correspondence and books which could one day be of interest to my descendants and even perhaps some value to scholars if I can ever get around to preserving them properly.
